A personal trainer with a striking resemblance to the Rock has shared how he frequently gets approached by strangers at various places such as restaurants, hotels, and even the beach, who request to take a photo with him.
Antonio Muratore, hailing from Milan, possesses a similar head shape, physique, and identical tattoos to the renowned American actor, Dwayne Johnson.
At 54 years old, Antonio expressed that this resemblance has brought about transformative experiences for him, though he admitted that he doesn’t always immediately disclose the truth to strangers.
He acknowledged that he hadn’t initially noticed the likeness until a friend pointed out their similarities around a decade ago.
Antonio stated, “It’s an extraordinary situation to resemble him. As a generally private individual, I prefer not to draw excessive attention to myself. However, I never tire of this because it brings joy to people. I would go to great lengths to meet him someday.”

Antonio, who is currently single, shared, “It was around ten years ago when a friend first mentioned that I resembled the Rock. Over the years, wherever I go, people would often approach me and request pictures. It has happened in hotels, restaurants, and even on the beach – it occurs continuously.”
He recounted one incident when someone followed him for 15 minutes down the road, which was a bit overwhelming. However, he generally remains happy to oblige when asked for a photograph.
“I consider myself incredibly fortunate to resemble him because he is not only a remarkable athlete but also an exceptional individual in all aspects of life,” Antonio added.
Antonio also shared an anecdote about attending a movie featuring the Rock and being swarmed by fans after the film ended.
“At the conclusion of the movie, as everyone exited, only a few children remained. When the lights came on, those kids spotted me and started screaming, ‘The Rock! The Rock!’ Suddenly, everyone rushed back into the cinema for a picture. It was an absolutely surreal situation.”
Antonio has frequently been approached by crowds requesting to take pictures with him, both on the street and in various locations such as hotel receptions, restaurants, and even while he enjoys the sun on the beach. Furthermore, he mentioned that beachgoers recognize him because of his distinctive tattoos, leading them to rush up to him in excitement.

Sometimes, Antonio admits that he is not the real person they believe him to be, but there are also occasions when he enjoys playing along.
He added, “I find myself standing and posing for pictures all the time. I’m always delighted to take a moment and capture a photograph with anyone who approaches me.”
Antonio shared that he had an exciting opportunity to be cast as The Rock’s body double in a major Hollywood film, fulfilling a dream he had. However, due to the unfortunate impact of Covid, the project was disrupted. Nevertheless, Antonio wishes to express his gratitude to The Rock for the immense positive influence he has had on his life.
He mentioned, “As an individual, I tend to be private and not particularly fond of excessive attention. However, when I receive attention as someone resembling The Rock, it genuinely brings me happiness.”
Antonio expressed his admiration for The Rock and mentioned that he would be thrilled to have the opportunity to challenge the former wrestler to a friendly boxing match, believing that he could give him a good competition.
“When people mistake me for him and recognize me as his double, it brings me a sense of joy knowing that I resemble someone great,” Antonio shared.
He added, “During moments of distress, just hearing someone say, ‘Hey look, it’s The Rock,’ instantly lifts my spirits and brings me happiness again.”
Antonio further commented on his interest in challenging The Rock to a boxing match, specifically in Thai boxing, where he believes he may stand a chance. He humorously mentioned that even his mother thinks he would emerge victorious in such a bout.
