Francis Ngannou is a big underdog against Tyson Fury, but a new video with Mike Tyson is adding to his clout as a boxer.


The Tyson vs. Francis Ngannou boxing match will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The match is expected to pit the former UFC heavyweight champion and MMA freedom fighter Ngannou against the boxing heavyweight champion Fury in a crossover competition that has captured the attention of the entire sports world.

Fury has been busy firing verbal shots at and defending verbal shots from fellow boxing contenders. Ngannou let loose with a provocative five-word warning to Fury that has fans of both sports talking.

Now it appears as if Francis Ngannou’s training circuit with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has been leaked.

Tyson appears in the video below with his trademark black eye tattoo, telling Francis Ngannou to relax while putting things in perspective. He appears to show the Cameroonian-French heavyweight how to throw his trademark body shots, a new weapon that the former UFC champ could threaten his famous opponent with in the ring.

Francis Ngannou has his work cut out for him against the legendary British heavyweight. Fury has become one of the most iconic boxers of his generation. His power, technique, precision and skill belie his physical appearance, as he is one of the pound-for-pound quickest and most technical boxers of his generation, capable of outboxing and knocking out opponents both bigger and smaller than him in the ring.

Fury’s career record currently stands at 33-0-1 over the course of his career, with 24 knockout victories to his name. If Ngannou is to make the match a competitive one, he is going to have to rely on his impressive power and overall fight IQ.

Francis Ngannou has a record of 17-3 in the Octagon and has beaten impressive fighters including Stipe Miocic, Cain Velasquez and Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis, among others during his UFC career.
